Sunny,Beautiful,Fun Snow Day!!

All of the big snow storms have been missing us so far this year, until this week! Wednesday it started sleeting and then hailing and eventually that afternoon turned to snow & snowed until around 9 that night. So Thursday we had a beautiful, fun, snow day!! We started off by building our Alabama snowman, threw some snowballs, went sledding and then went on horse rides in the snow. After all of that we came in and warmed up by the fire. It was such a fun day! It is amazing how beautiful the snow makes everything!

Holly Jolly Christmas

We were very fortunate and happy to be able to spend part of the holidays with both of our families. We left the beautiful white snow of Virginia and headed down to Alabama on my birthday. Lee and Abigail woke me up with happy birthday muffins :) I blew out my candles, we ate and then loaded in the truck to start the long journey. When we got to my parents I was greeted at the door with happy birthday balloons everywhere (Thanks mama!) We were able to spend a few wonderful days with my family including an amazing birthday dinner of Hawaiian ribeye (YUM!) and great family. And Lee was very excited to be able to play on his land for a few days! Aaron, Justice and I also had a photography day excursion! It was nice to all get to spend time together for a few hours just us.
 We woke up Christmas morning at my parents and opened presents and ate moms special sausage balls. We then headed to Maw-Maw & Ga-Ga's for more presents, yummy food, family and of course fun! After a delicious lunch it was into the living room to open ALL of the many many presents. As always there was a lot of laughter going on :)
  After lunch and presents we headed to Tuscaloosa to go to GoGo's house and see all of our family in Tuscaloosa. The kids were all just itching to open all of the wonderful presents when we got there! We had another delicious meal and while we finished eating the kids arranged everyone's presents into separate piles. Then it was time for the fun to begin! Lots of fun and laughter as all of the many presents were opened!
We were able to spend a few fun days in Tuscaloosa at GoGos too!! Lee was able to hunt some more and Abigail was able to spend some much needed fun time with cousins Davis, Libba and Turner. GoGo and I were even able to make cleaning and going through clothes fun, or at least we accomplished it! :)
 Overall we had an absolute wonderful first Christmas together as a family! It was filled with amazing family, food, fun, love and laughter! It was great to see everyone so happy and having such a good time together. And as always it was so much fun to see all of the kids so excited about opening gifts and see the smiles on their faces as they played with their new gifts. All while we sat in a sea of wrapping paper.

Abigail would live on top of a horse 24-7 if she could! And since I got my wonderful new camera for Christmas, she would have me take pictures of her on the horses 24-7 if I could! And I would love to! I am having a lot of fun learning and playing with my new camera. I can't wait for more horse shows so I can use my camera and get amazing jumping pictures! Until the jumping shows start back up (just dressage and inner-school shows for now), we are having fun doing our own little Abigail & her ponies photo shoots! :)

Our new Life

   As you all know Lee and I were married on October 30th and we finally became a big happy family! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! After a week of rain the sun came out and it could not have been a more beautiful day. Mr. Tommy and Mrs. Ruth opened up their beautiful home on Lake Martin to us and our guests. We could not have picked a more beautiful or perfect place for our wedding! Jill with Weddings By Jill was the most amazing wedding planner I could have asked for! She did a fabulous job with everything! Big thanks to her for making everything absolutely beautiful! Also huge thanks to Erika & Evan with Kim Box Photography for taking fabulous photos of our special day! 

   Our wedding was truly my dream wedding come true! Everything about it was amazing and everyone had so much fun! Mom and Dad huge thank you to both of you for EVERYTHING!! Without both of you we never could have had our dream wedding.

   After the wedding we went to Palm Island Resort in the Grenadines for a week. We had a fabulous time and it was beautiful there! A much needed very relaxing week of being surrounded by nothing but beautiful! (Also a week without cell phones or TV, very nice & quiet!!!)

  Abigail and GoGO had a fun week while we were gone! Since coming back home our life has been fast paced and go go go full force! But we would have it no other way! We are all adjusting happily to our new life and looking forward to all of the new adventures ahead of us!
